Is anyone using this for voicemail, UCC, Unified Messaging, etc...? They just released a new version apparently, and we may invite them to an RFP bid.

I haven't had any experience with them. I know they were formed from Captaris, but that's about it.

I'd like to get personal feedback rather than their feedback.

Thanks all.

The AVST CallXpress is a good system. It has been a stable system. 7.80 is the new release. It has the 3 main TUI's Aria, Audix, and Serenade along with a couple more . The system I have is connected as digital sets to my S8700, but QSIG is available and IP/SIP is coming in the next release. The thing I like about their Unified Messenging is that you can pick which individual mailboxes are UM and which are just regular voicemail with no UM access. You also have the ability to program features per individual mailbox or group them together as a Class of Service. My entire system is on one Dell server. It can also connect to the Avaya Message Network S3210 system to be included in a voice messaging network, but I haven't used this setup.
