Avoid entering extension when checking voicemail

I've read what everyone has suggested but am still having difficulties. For those users who don't want to have to enter their extension and password, I have entered their Source Number starting with a capital V in Manager (6.1(9)). In VM Pro (4.1) I have added Start Point - Get Mail under Default Start Points - Collect. For all extensions that start with 2XX it works. For extensions that start 1XX it's still asking for the ext # and pwd.

Ideas? Suggestions?

By visual voice button, do you mean program one of their phone buttons? If so, then Yes, their phones (4412) are programmed with Advanced - VoiceMail - Voicemail Collect on button number 6.

I don't believe they have ever had anything programmed. There are no Collect Start Points for th 2XX extensions.

Not Voicemail Collect -Visual Voice from the emulation menu (introduced in V4.0)

jamie: sorry, I wasn't clear about that. There are no Collect Start Points for 1XX or 2XX.

IPGuru: Didn't know about Visual Voice. Interesting feature, but not what we were looking for.

SOLUTION: I deleted and reinserted the V for everyone's source code. Odd... Just glad that it's working now.
