AVG Resident shield not running

Resident shield is failing on one of machines I look after.
I re-installed yesterday and that got it going again but this morning its failed again.

I have done a HJT scan cant see anything obvious...
AVGcheck.exe is one of my apps and is safe.

right click my computer, choose manage. then services & applications, then click services, in the services window find AVG shield and right click it and start it, click the down box to set it to automatic!
