I am trying to get my customer a wireless handset solution that can be used plugged into the Parter 18D aux port on an ACS Release 8. I have been told the 3920 can't be used this way as the older TransTalk models were. Can anyone tell me if the 3810 or 3910 can do this? If not, is there a newer model that does?

The 3910/20 phones are system phones; only analog phones can be used in the aux port. The 3910/20 need their own ext ports. Programming can make the two work together well, if one person is using both. For example, calls can be forwarded from the desk set to the 3910/20.

You can also purchase an over-the-counter wireless analog phone and use it in the aux port. There are also some small phones that are supported by Avaya that are listed as headsets.
