Hello to all.
We try to configure some wifi phone 6140 (manufactured year 2010/2012) with IP Office rel. 8.1 & standard AP with WMM support enabled (Netgear).
We updated the phone @ release 117.058 (plese note AVAYA H323 Release 3 version 117.058 allows Avaya 3641/3645/6120/6140 IP Wireless Handsets to be used with Avaya Communications Manager and Avaya IP Office. NOTE: Only specific hardware versions of the 6120/6140 IP Wireless Handset are capable of loading this software. Please refer to the ReadMe file for more details.)
We always check all parameters with HAT sw configuration (i.e. SSID, DHCP ON, Security OFF, QoS Standard wifi, IP Office Enabled, protocol 033, zone 02 --> Europe).
The phone reboot and give us the error message below: NO AP FOUND.
Can anyone help us ? Missing other AVAYA hardware and/or software license on IP Office ? Does anyone configured this phone 61xx ?

Thanks in advance
mv.

If you have a 6140 from 2010/2012, it is probably not the "universal" model which can load the H.323 software for IP Office. The "universal" models can be identified by a black bezel around the display, red “Avaya” lettering above the display, and no model numbers on the bezel.

Hello and Many thansk...
Yes, we have 6140 NORTEL form 2010...we need to connect with IP Office v. 8.1: do you have any suggestion ? (i.e. firmware downgrade/upgrade) ?
regards.
m.

You cannot load the H.323 software required for IP Office on that old 6140. You need to purchase either a new 3645 or a new 6140.
