Avaya VPN phone issue

We have deployed about 40 VPN phones but we are having sporadic issues. Has anyone seen the error "gatekeepr list empty" when plugged into a router or directly to a cable modem?

I have seen that. I resolved this by entering the ip address of the call server into the phone. I think you can do this with settings file also. I just keyed it into the phone.

I will double check and make sure the call serevr address is in the phone.
