This may seem like a mad plan, but it's something that's been tasked to me by my elders and betters..
Has anybody had any experience linking an Avaya ip500 to a Panasonic NCP, Siemens HiPath Open Office or a Mitel 3300Ccxi with Voip??
I've had some success getting some call alerting going but no speech path.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i think no speech is either routing or different codecs...

Make IP trunk to NCP500-Panasonic

Requirements and settings on IPO
********************************
Vcm32 - licenses IP500
Fix IP to NCP
Fix codec = g729a
H450 Hulp = qsig
Fast start enabled
All other disabled

Requirements on NCP500
**********************
Install V-IPGW16
GW settings - ip from IP500
Self property
incoming calls -voice codec priority 1st = g729a
Reset=default

Config on NCP
*************
CO-line towards IP500
Network Operator (VoIP)
TIE Table on trunk Group
Group / TRG settings

if IPO and NCP not on same lan verify VPN and routing

Good luck

that's great, I've got the IPO to the Siemens going,
I'll give the panny bash in the morning.
Cheers!
