I'll be honest, I really dont get the complexity in terms of setting up around the vantage. Why dont they set it up so you can easily download upgrades from an 'Avaya' central store through the device itself, rather than having us have to mess with 46xxsettings files etc on a file store.
Once on, why is the android feel so different, why cant they simply just have play store on the app, with the ability to download Equinox like on any other device, why again do you have to mess with a settings file. I've got 2 x vanatages setup as a demo, with them both looking/performing completly differently to one and other, yet it was the same firmware they took!
and just whilst im on a roll! why isnt Equinox on windows not set to auto-update like all applications these days. Even app's like Micro SIP prompt you that an update is available - avaya's stance seems to be just keep checking back to the website every day, once you see an update, inform your whole customer base that they need to update, because if there are issues, thats Avaya's fix!
I just find things so frustrating at times, there supposed to be a market leader, yet it all just comes out very backwards.
