Hello everyone

I'm wondering if anyone has come across a random problem on a server edition IPO running release 9.1.8.0 build 172

A Avaya IP extension user has dialled out to a external phone number and they were put on hold by the far end. Rather than hearing the end party's Music On Hold, they heard the Avaya Server edition system hold music while they were left on hold.

I seem to recall hearing something about this before but I can't remember if it was on this forum.

Any help would be greatly appreciated please?.

Hello Okkie26

I have logged in and gone to the Line section to select the SIP line and into the VOIP tab. I don't see any reference to be able to untick the "Local Hold Music".
All I have is tick boxes for "Re-invite Supported" and "PRACK/100rel Supported" that can be cahnged. 4 other boxes are greyed out. I have looked in the Avaya help section and it makes a mention of this "Local Hold Music" but I don't know if the help guide is a red herring or if I have to enable the option elsewhere?.
