We are working with a customer deploying Microsoft Teams. The customer would like to have users migrating to MS Teams keep their existing DID. This is not an issue for calls from the PSTN as we can create the required route on the PSTN SBC however, it seems like routing an internal call from Avaya to an extension migrated to Teams is not so simple.
I am looking for advice on how we can reroute a call to an extension which has been removed from Avaya to a trunk connecting to an SBC.
Migration example:
1)User enabled on MS teams with DID
2)Extension removed from Avaya
3)External call from PSTN is routed to MS teams by central SBC
4)Internal call from Avaya to migrated user extension must route to SBC for routing to MS teams
