I have a Definity Prologix and I want to use a TN556B ISDN card but I need to know the how this fans out to the punch down, I am assuming the W/B W/G pairs, but I do not know which pair does what?

Does anyone have this knowledge?

Thank you!

The tn566 breaks out on the pbx side w-bl/bl-w/w-o/o-w is the first circuit w-g/g-w/w/br br-w is the second circuit and that continues down the block for all 12 circuits you do not skip pairs on the block.
On the Jack side you will connect them to the w-bl/bl-w pair to the w-bl/bl-w or pins 4-5 on a rj45 and the w-o/o-w to the w-g/g-w or pins 3 and 6 on a rj45.

Ok very cool, I did find a wiring diagram on the internet but it was confusing as Avaya labels the breakouts PXR, PXT, TXT, TXR

Pbx Receive, Pbx Transmit, Terminal Transmit, Terminal Receive... so I was not sure how that translated to the RJ 45 where you have a transmit plus, transmit minus, receive plus, receive minus...

Also..where did you find out how to wire it? Is this documented somewhere official?

Documentation for the pinouts for various boards is in the Terminals and Adjuncts Manual. It does not seem to be in newer CD docs, Avaya manuals (sic) leave a lot to be desired nowadays. Check the Avaya support site under V-4 and V-5 releases, Release 8.2 is good for some of the newer features. They had the best coverage and info, you would have to pry my cold dead fingers off of my paper manuals to get them. Ever try to stick a post-it note on a CD.
If you use 2 85xx stations per port, make sure you assign the SPID's correctly on the individual stations otherwise they won't work. You have to have or locate a station user guide to administer them

Yes I used to have those guides in another market...im trying to find someone that has them....I have a few strings I can pull for them hehehe
