Avaya Softconsole Release 1.0 Directory problem

We just installed the softconsole software and have run into a few problems. We were able to create the master directory just fine however we now have a problem. With PC Console the operator was able to search for a name within the directory and then simply press enter to call that person. We cannot get this function to work in the softconsole. She can look up individuals but then she has to manually enter the telephone extension to reach them. According to the documentation we have she should be able to hit enter the that person will be called. We are not using an IP connection, rather a DCP connection via a Callmaster 6 telephone. The default master directory was imported from a text file and includes last name, first name, extension columns. I have already installed service pack 2 for this release and that took care of another problem we were having but this one still remain. Any help would be appreciated.
 
i am also in the same situation and am unable to click on entries in dirctory . what was the fix for this??
 
Its in the configuration, I believe Config manager on the PC running the softphone. We had to change the directory permissions so she could write to it. Also, something else we decided to do that it pretty nice. We installed just the Master Directory app on our PC's and stored the directory files on our network. We pointed the soft console to the same files. What this does is allow us and her to both make changes to the information and it is kept current that way, even if she does make changes.
 
the problem is i can search for directory entries and attd can modify add etc but double clicking the entry or hitting enter does not dial it? is this the same problem?
