Hello,

We have three Avaya's on an MPLS

2 x on 10.43.0.0
1 x on 192.168.43.0

We can ping PCs on either side of the Smoothwall and in either LAN but we cannot ping the Avaya between the subnets, we can ping between the 10.43.0.0 Avayas.

Is there anything I am missing on the Avaya set up that would stop this?

Thank you in Advance :)

have you set an IP route in the IP offices to act as a default gateway?
if not then the IPO's will not know how to route to the remote sites

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

All IP routes are in

i.e 0.0.0.0 then pointed to each local LAN gateway, what is strange is that from lan1 I cant ping the Avaya on lan2 and vice versa

if the IPO's are pointed at the correct default gateway (you do have the mask set to 0.0.0.0 as well don't you) then there is a routing issue on the data network itself.

Yes subnet is 0.0.0.0 and I agree re the network issue but I just wanted to make sure, thank you, you are very helpful
