System was working fine, but the web interface for administration was not functioning. I rebooted the system and web interface corrected. It also had receptionist soft console showing red alarm lite. I was anticipating the light going off as well with the reboot....it did not. When I look at the display alarms, nothing stands out for problems with current dates. I want to be able to clear the alarm from receptionist soft console. I even used Linux command line to investigate and clear alarms...but light still on and she complaining.

1c15 power alarm is what is causing the console alarm light. You will have to resolve the issue to extinguish the light.

Is the power supply in 1c15 functioning? You could clear alarms but if you still have a major the MJ/MN alarm notification button will go back on. What button does she have on her phone?

Receptionist has softconsole showing RED alarm light lit. 01C15 power supply is not showing any alarms since last Friday the 9th? Would it not throw an alarm every day\date? Is this the power supply over in the chassis or on the card in slot 1C15?

1/9/15 I powered off the Chassis and back on again. I have both 1A00 power supply and 1B00 power supply showing code 655A.

I only have 2 card cabinets. A and B, no C? Where is the 01C15 POW-SUP (y on board) alarm coming from?

can you do "almdisplay -v" and "almdisplay -res" from Linux command line?

Are you paging down and posting all of "List config port 1"? Your output only shows one carrier, the A, and only has one power supply and 10 cards in it.

In other words if you have dual power supplies in a G650 one is in slot 01A00 and the other would be in slot 01a15 your output does not show a B carrier nor does it show any cards in a slot greater than 10.

Those two lines look like they're still there to me? I'm sorry if I am not understanding here.

shouldn't clear events work to remove ALL the logs?

And then, if there was still a problem, then I would see it populate to display alarms screen...with current date?

Yes you appear to have alarms on carriers that don't exist and are possibly administered. Software corruption possibly? Can you put your eyes on this port network and if so can you verify that it is a 2 g650 stack?

How about the output of "display cabinet 1" or "display circuit-packs 1" and page to the b and c carrier.

It is a 2 G650 stack. Carrier A and carrier B.

i just learned of potential bad power-supplies. Both my packs start with serial numbers 05R41000####, I do not believe these are suspect problem. I am leaning towards a software corruption then? Alarm light is still it RED on receptionist panel, but ALL aspects of phone system are working perfectly as desired.
