Hi to all.
First, i'm apologize for my bad english.
I received from our customer two S8300 board (model C V4 & D V4) that's appear broken..
I tried to insert one S8300 in our g450 slot v1 & reboot (power off/on) --> setting up the notebook (192.11.13.5) and connect to Service port: no link & no tx/rx. I suppose that ethernet circuit is damaged: any suggestion ?
I tried to insert other S8300 in our G450 slot v1 & reboot (power off/on) --> settings to the notebook (192.11.13.5) and connect to Service port: only link & no tx/rx. I tried to change some NIC paramters (speed, 802.1Q, etc..): no way!
Still, does anyone experience with other external USB CDROM than Panasonic/Addonics/TEAC ? maybe i'll be need to boot .ISO OS...

Hi to all.
I'm using Win7 notebook & cros sover cat5 cable to connect @ service port.
I try the workaround posted on Avaya Youtube video..

I'm using another WinXP notebook & cros sover cat5 cable to connect @ S8300 service port.
No connection: ethernet link is OK / RX/TX in OFF.
(check the cross cable & works fine..).
Any suggestion ??

Can you even ping the .6 address ??

What about if you try the exact same thing in the G450 services port do you get any response / connectivity ??

Also use the S8300D if you are going to rebuild .... but lets see what is going on first what process doi the led`s on the S8300 go through when you power it up.
