I have been asked to put together a "Resource Book" containing information re: All Our Avaya/Definity PBX & Intuity Sites. What information should be included in something like this?
What would you include?

I know this is very vague, but that's they asked!!

EVERYTHING!!

Your local and long distance providers & DNIS numbers and circuit ID numbers.
All programming in your switch/s. like vdn vectors hunt groups.
Ask yourself what would you need to rebuild the system, is what should be in your book. Look!!! New Buttons
Same amount of time!

Thanks All Phoneman2

We had some consultants come on site and they did a thorough audit of our definity. The book was huge as it contained a page for all of the vectors, vdns etc.
The problem is that it went out of date very quickly as we have marketing campaigns etc set up and changed every day!
We mainly work with a central excel sheet now which has all the site info. This has a list of agent logins and passwords, actual wording of announcements, VDN lists, as well as a full physical patching schedule. Any changes that are made are updated as we go.
Another thing that we are going to start is once a month use terranova to do a full diplay of all vectors in a text file so that we have that info also. Hope this helps
John
