Avaya "MyPhone" Login Issues

My vendor tells me the "MYPhone" feature is working. the help guide says you just login with the phone ext. then the security code. When I do, I get a: Communication Error, connection to CM Failed. Searching another forum, I saw a post that the CM may not be configured to allow access from the MyPhone utility server. The vendor says it is configured. Logs say I have a credentials issue. Where can I check all of this out as far as if it is configured or not? Anything you folks can do to point me in the right direction would be awesome! :)
 
There is two places to check the connectivity for the MyPhone.
1. In the Utility Server, click on cm login and put in the correct login and pwd. Then test the connection from there. I should pass.
2. Then open a web browser and put in the Utility Servers IP address. This should take you to a point where you can click on Utilities and then MyPhone ADMIN. Login with the same login/pwd you would use for the System Platform. Then click on MyPhone/AES/CM etc. The first login/pwd field is for the CM. Test the connection. If it fails, you have to change the login from the default to something like this: customer@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:5022 Where the IP address is the CM's address. Then test the connection.

It is working for us now...I found out that the vendor had never configured it in the switch...something about a service was not running...
 
Hello, I am having the same problem. What service in the switch needs to be turned on?
 
In our case the service was not running and the there was no utility logon created...they made the logon and then I was ok...
