I have a Portawell SBCE that is running SIP trunks for a customer pointing to a couple server editions. We are also currently running the equinox apps on one server edition through the SBC. Now the customer has tasked us with getting the equinox apps working through the sbce to their other server editions. Is this possible, if so can someone point me in the correct direction. Thx

SIP remote worker on the SBCE has been a thing for a long time - UC or just voice and on Aura or IPO.

Presuming IPO11, the presence core is delivered from IPO (and I believe over 5061, but don't quote me) and the chat is from Zang online.

So, the chat part has nothing to do with the SBC, and I'd think the same rules apply for remote Equinox as it would for Communicator for Windows or iPad.

I think you'd need a second B1 IP, and preferably a dedicated public IP for the remote SIP clients. From memory, the SBC can't tell if received messages on a single IP are from your public trunks or your public clients.

Anyway, here's the first doc I google on the subject. There's surely something more recent to help you out!

Thx I have a 2nd public assignee. I plan to test this later in the week, I'll let you know the outcome
