I'm really an security system guy.But anyway I'm looking to free up a pair of wires to run video on last pair. I have a partner II system and Avaya 18-D phones. Unfortunatly have only 4 pair to work 2 phones.I was wondering if anyone knows if ican share a pair,or run 2 phones on one ext. line?

If you can make one of the Extensions an analog set, you would free up a pair. They could share the same ext. #, BUT you wouldn't be able to use them both at the same time. (That would be a waste.)

You can downgrade 1 of them to an analog phone. The partner has enhanced tip/ring ports so regular phones will work, too. Or ... just run another wire.
