Inherited this system with new office space .. how can we change or delete the "system message"? We have a greeting to leave name number etc, then the 'system message' comes on and says the same basic stuff.. want to use our own personalized greeting for leaving messages etc, and get rid of the system greeting.. can it be done ( with out a Hammer?? ) LOL thanks..

In order to even begin answering the question, we need to know which voicemail the system is using.

Is it a Partner Mail, Partner Mail VS, Partner Voice Messaging, Avaya Partner Messaging or a third party unit [ponder]

Generally speaking, with AT&T/Lucent/Avaya voicemails, you would log in as the Admin and navigate the menu to get to the location where you can change the greeting.

Avaya's website has manuals for most AT&T/Lucent/Avaya voicemails available for free downloading. If you have not done so, head on over, access the manual for the model you have, read over the procedure to change the greeting and give it a shot.
