Its been so long since I programmed avaya acs auto attendant however ran into snag and don't remember how i did it previously. Auto attendant works perfectly. But want to rotate so auto attendant only works at nite and day doesn't work and i was able to get that working! But the general delivery mail box doesn't answer during the day. Cause lines set to nite only... Any ideas ?

Which version of voicemail? Partner Mail, Partner Mail VS, Partner Messaging, Partner Voice Messaging?

So, in Day Mode, you would like calls to ring and cover to a single mailbox, but in Night Mode you would like calls to be answered by an Automated Attendant?

correct.. in regards to version im not sure. I know its R7. I know its the voicemail one where you do intercom 777, then mailbox 0, then press 9 to get to the auto attendant menu

That's Partner Messaging. Press 7 instead of 9 to hear the release of the Voicemail.

You're not going to be able to make just a mailbox answer in one mode of operation and the auto attendant answer in the other. You can only assign the lines to VMS Line Cover, where an extension's mailbox answers the calls, OR to CallDistGroup 7 where the auto attendant answers the calls.

You CAN control which AA message plays for each mode, AND the number of rings before it answers. In the AA's you can set the Dial-o/Timeout option differently, default for Day is the Call Answer Service Operator (Ext. 10 by default) and Night is the General Mailbox. You could change the Day 0-timeout to the General Mailbox as well.
