I have an issue with one-x portal. Basically when a call comes in on a huntgroup, hunt group name is not shown in one-x portal on web interface.

Setup consists on IP500v2, a separate voicemail pro server running windows, which also hosts one-x portal software.

I put VM Pro server IP in voicemail provider but its status is red for some reasons.

Any idea what might be wrong pls?

One more note. I am getting provider socket exception

Just as an update:

Uninstalled vmpro and onexp
Installed IIS ticking all components
Installed vm pro 4.2 - no errors
When i try to load 127.0.0.1 to test web component i get a message a license is required. Which license pls? This means web component is fine right? Licensing is ok for onex. I am guessing this is the ums license but this is not req for onex roght?

Onexp inst on same server, set to vm pro and vmpro component fails with socket error.

Tried installing on a separate server but same symptoms.

Any help is greatly appreciated as we have been stuck on this issue for the whole week.. And more! Thanks

Agreed, but would upgrading to a newer VMpro version solve his problem ?

Does that have anything to do with VMpro?

No, but it seems to me your one-x provider is misconfigured or you have a firewall messing up things.
Did you install VM Pro first and then one-x portal?
If you follow the installation instructions by the letter then it will never fail.
Consider the LINUX version, is faster, more reliable and will always work without modding around with these crancky providers.

Thanks Intrigant. Do you have a link for the 8.1 application server DVD. This link is dead:
ftp://ftp.avaya.com/incoming/Up1cku9/SoftwarePub/8_0GA_Builds/APPSSVR/apps-8.0.8-62.iso

Thanks intrigant.

I too think thats the best solution. How do you suggest to best backup call flows and vm folder(for greetings and messages) to the new vm residing on linux?[tt][/tt]

Upgraded to VMPro 8.1 - Now the status of the provider finally went green in 1XP. VMPro 4.2 was indeed, too old. However, incoming calls still not show the Huntgroup associated. Is this a setting somewhere in IP Office Manager or 1XP?

We are trying out the Linux install now to see if there's a difference.

Made backup of VM 8.1 Pro on Windows, transferred it via SSH to the Linux App server.
I've setup VMpro and 1xp on the Linux App server, configured everything fine.

Logged in as a user in the new 1XP user portal, but unfortunately, when i call the Huntgroups the user is in, these are not displayed in 1XP.

I only see the incoming number in the following format: 003563233223 (003563233223)

What am I missing here? How do i make the huntgroup appear ??

To: Intrigant

We have no firewalls (hardware/software) in place. UAC is disabled. We've tried Linux and Windows versions of the One-X portal and VMpro, everything is installed exactly like the manual tells us, but the one thing we can't solve is the display of huntgroups in the One-X webportal like described above. It will only show the incoming number.

Is there someone who has got this working in the One-X portal? Is it possible at all to see the huntgroup of the incoming call? Any tips on where to look in the IPO config would be highly appreciated.

One-X Portal Version: 8.1.95
VMPro 8.1
All providers green and configured correctly.
