Avaya One X issue

I have a customer who is on IP 500 V 8.0 and has been using one x sever successfully, suddenly the Android app refuses to connect and I have lost the chat Icon when hovering over a user in the desktop software. The Desk top software works ok apart from the chat option but the Android app refuses to connect. I have taken the server of users network and put it on my own with my wireless router but still no Joy. Has anyone had these issues before? suspect Java versions. Is there a specific Java version I should be using.

Mostly lack of memory if it worked before, how many ram do you have?

Don't think Ram is an issue as it was fine before and this server only runs One x and VM pro
 
How much ram is in it?

I had the Same Problem. I increased my memory from 4GB to 16 GB and give my server Processor core's and the app works perfect now.
 
All sorted now, it was a java update issue. I just re ran the latest java update again and it now works fine.
 
but for how long.....

With Avaya software probably about 2 days.....in the mean time I have disabled Java updates.
 
This has nothing to do with Avaya but with Java being a security issue at all times and being bad programmed software.
