Hi,

Find me feature of Avaya modular messaging is not working for the external numbers starts with 317. But we are able to dial the same numbers from the desk phones without any issues. MM has been integrated to CM via Audiocodes Mediant 1000 SIP media gateway. 2 T1 trunks have been connected to Audiocodes. From Audiocodes to MM it is SIP trunks. Doesn't looks like a Telco issue as we are able to dial directly. Any other suggestions where i can look?

Try Ars analysis and add the specific 317 entry on main location

You can also check the AudioCodes logs to see if MM is sending the call with properly formatted number strings like 9314xxxx etc to CM (assuming 9 is your ARS FAC).

Hi
Thanks for the update.
I tried adding ARS entry, still no change in the behavior. Will try to check the logs in Audiocodes. But not sure how it's only happening for 317 numbers. If it's something with Audiocodes, then what will be requires to fix it?

That greatly depends on what it is that AudioCodes is doing to the call. Did you trace the trunk on the Avaya side to see what the call was doing? You can also check the MM logs to see what MM is attempting to do.

I Checked the trunk on the Avaya side. It just shows that call is been forwarded to voicemail number, nothing else. I will check on MM logs to see what MM is attempting to do.

Can you call any other numbers using findme ?

Yes, I can call most of the numbers. Even I can call some 317 numbers also. Specifically some 317 numbers not working.

So if you look at the OHV what does it show when the call is placed If it can call other numbers then I'm not sure this has anything to do with the Audiocode

but the Audiocodes has a pretty good syslog that can tell you if it is running into issues on this

Do these 317 belong to the same service provider? If not, it may be that the service provider (Telco) does not support Attendant transfer

No, These numbers are geographically at different locations. Might be different service providers. But they checked and confirmed that nothing more can be done from their end.

did you look at the OHV to see hat it shows?

Sorry, I am not sure about the term OHV. Can you tell me how to see that?

yep that is it. Now you just need to capture the findme call to see if it will shed some light on the issue

It is the complete trace during the entire call flow scenario.not sure how it is missing. Is there anything else need to verified for why it is missing?

You need to turn on the sip tracing

If not I would get someone involved that knows MM
