Hi Guys,
I have new installed MAS/MSS Server and one of the customer requirements is to have option to access or send messages via MS Outlook client, Anyone knows this integration?

Thanks
Val

You will need to install the client software on the enduser PC.

You may need to download the updated one from the support download site. It is about 58 Meg. It will then setup an Avaya folder in Outlook and add subscriber options to the PC.

It is on the DVD than comes with the system.

Hi Ken,
I have question regards with Placing the MSS on windows domain, basically i am almost done doing MSS and MAS ( DCT is already loaded) but when I configured the WINDOWS DOMAIN SETUP I got this error..

Windos Domain Setup Failed:
set_windows_domain: ERROR- Can not resolve IP address of pabxmas1.actone10.local!!

Usage:set_windows_domain, netbios_name, domain_name, domain controller admin, (administrator_password)

This is my Configuration:

Basic System Admin > TCI/IP Admin > Windows Domain SetUp

Under Windows Domain Setup

Private LAN NetBIOS Name: mss1
NetBIOS Domain Name: actone10
Fully Qualified Domain Controller Name: pabxmas1.actone10.local
Domain Controller Administrator: pabxmas1
Domain Controller Administrator Password: Sam1#9724

Thanks for your kind help.
Val

This looks right. can you ping the pabxmas.actone10.local from the mss with the name?

It should go out the priv lan to get to the mas and the mas name should be pabxmas.actone10.local

what to you have in the trusted server for this mas?

Hi Ken,
Correct me if im wrong my name on Fully Qualified Domain Controller is: pabxmas1.actone10.local

Good Question, from MSS i can ping both Private and Corporate IP Address But the named pabxmas1.actone10.local is NOT ( unable to ping )

On my Trusted Server I have VVTS for MWI with MWI passwor, pabxmas1.tp.edu.sg for MAS#1 with LDAP password, pabxmas2.tp.edu.sg for MAS#2 with LDAP password.

Thanks, Val

the MAS1 should be the priv name and ip as well as the vvst should be the priv ip

Hi Ken,

Can I send it to my DCT file for you to easily find out the error?
Based on the Avaya MM Docs, Im finish the Initial MSS installation and currently Im stuck up doing Completing MSS Setup.
The DCT file is already loaded to my 2 MAS's

Thanks,
Val
