Quick question, has anybody played with the new plug in for ip office and MS Lync that has recently been released i was wondering if you call out via the plug in it will display your own DDI from the ip office unit allocated to your extension ?
Sorry, that wasn't very clear was it? I meant that I had uninstalled the Avaya Lync plugin not long after I first installed it so I could get native Lync audio/video working again. We have people in our office running on both IPO and Lync. It got to be a PITA with the Lync audio and video controls disabled when trying to join an online meeting, especially when out of the office.
That'll teach me to reply to a post from my silly iphone.
have another star for me as I have been researching this issue for our situation. Pity that I find this after we have gone with Adobe Connect for video conferencing
Customer is in a similar situation, customers will be on Lync calls, but need to dial in to a conference bridge. Internal staff want to retain using Lync audio, and not one-X for multiple reasons. Have any of you set up Avaya-Lync conference calls? All the registry edits are perfect, this is the final piece. (Yes, I read the docs - technet references a Mediation Server for IPPBX integration, wondering about another way to tackle it)
hi have followed the registry 'modification' mentioned in this thread, can make and receive calls using lync but no audio
also within link settings the 'Phone Integration' setting is greyed out - is this relevant with the Avaya plug in
Final question, is there any integration into one-x/ip office so I can see contacts from the IPO within link, even better see one-x statuses through lync?
