Hi are there logs that can be reviewed that says who did what, not the "show history" log but something in more details that would say who enabled a feature access code or what portion of a cor was changed etc. Thanks for the help.

Hardware platform? Definity / CM software version?

If you are running CM, as I am, you can keep an eye on /var/log/ecs/commandhistory. I wrote a script to check that file, filter out only the commands ran by users (as opposed to maintenance commands that are run automatically) and put the results into a spreadsheet. Take a look at that file first, it should have what you are looking for.

Thanks for the suggestion. I am running cm3.1. Are there any other logs that could provide info or that is pretty much it in terms of compliance log to check for any work done. thanks.

Again, check on the servers for /var/log/ecs/commandhistory. That is the log of all commands that have been run other than what I will call read only commands, ie. Display, List, etc.

Those CM commands do not go into the /var/log/ecs/commandhistory files until cm4 and higher.
You also have to set logging levels to control what goes into the files.
Code:
change logging-levels Page 1 of 2

                                 LOGGING LEVELS

 Enable Command Logging? y
Log Data Values: both / new / none

When enabled, log commands associated with the following actions:

             add? y export? y refresh? y
         busyout? y get? n release? y
  campon-busyout? y go? y remove? y
          cancel? n import? y reset? y
          change? y list? n save? y
           clear? y mark? n set? y
         disable? y monitor? y status? n
         display? n netstat? n test? y
       duplicate? y notify? n traceroute? n
          enable? y ping? n upload? n
           erase? y recycle? y

change logging-levels Page 2 of 2

thanks for the response everyone. avayatier3- in cm3.1 where does the log that crash29 is referring go to? Thanks.

cm3 and earlier does not have CM commands ported to linux log files.
