AVAYA J129 - could not execute Conference

Good Day Everyone,

Have you encounter this issue? I installed AVAYA J129 on my AVAYA IPO V2 RLS 11
When we try to do the Conference it is not working it says on the display ''Conference Failed''
When we check the system status for error the error is ''You are using a feature that is restricted'' / License needed: Preferred edition license''


We had request a trial license for preferred edition and the conference did work for J129

My question is? does preferred edition license really needed just for a conference feature?

Yes. You need Preferred Edition Licences for Conference Meet Me Functions.

Thank you for your reply, but i am not using a Conference Meet Me i am just executing an internal 3 party conference features using J129. When i use other phones such as J139 / J179 OR 1600 series phones the conference works. only the J129 has the problem for the basic conference feature.

You don't want to use MeetMe but you do. There was a similar thread handling the same issue with K155 a few weeks ago. Search the forum.
