Hi all,

we have connected Avaya CM to a standard edition Avaya IPO using SCN and shortcodes for basic 4 digit dialing and it works no problem.

We now have a customer migrating from Avaya CM to Avaya IPOSE and we're are trying to create an H323 H450 trunk between CM and Primary Server and use short codes to direct calls over IP trunk for extension dialing until all sites are on IPO.

The trunk is configured the Same with H323 and H450, direct media path unchecked. When we call the test extension from the CM to the IP Office it hits the Trunk on the IPOSE primary server but the Cm gets and error that the is no extension programmed.

has anyone completed this and do you have any insight?

on cm it would have to be built as an aar code routing across the scn trunk

You should see what happens in SysMon if it hits the IPO.
As long as it sends the extension as called number it should hit that on the IPO.

Thanks for the responses! I checked SysMon and they were sending an added character in front of the extension that showed up as a 0 in sysmon. The Avaya CM contact made a change that removed the character and the other thing we had to do what hardcode the codec to G711 to get audio to work. Calls can now route both directions. Thank you!
