Avaya IPO V11.1 IPSec VPN tunnel 9640 phones thru Fortinet 60D R5.4 Firewall - Retrieval Failed

Hi, we set up 9640 IP phones in the office with no issue. IP Sec VPN for the remote phones created back to the office, the VPN tunnel creates and we can ping the phone on the network. Issue is once the tunnel is built, any attempt to log on with the phone is met with Retrieval failed message. Does anyone have suggestions with Fortinet Router? We entered the shutting off ALG too. Kind of baffled at this point. thank you

Make sure you dont have NAT enabled for the VPN. Otherwise, the IPO will think its a remote worker and require a license.

The "Retrieval failed" message just means it couldn't get a backup file for personal phone settings, either cause it couldn't connect to the webserver or there's aren't a saved backup.

Is there any other issues with the extension.
