Hi,
I have a new install of a 500v2 at R10.1 and I have (40) 9600 IP phones and 1 existing Polycom IP6000 that the customer had with a previous system and all use a Comcast PRI to dial out. Everything is working as planned except the IP6000. We defaulted it and followed the setup guide (I have also set up several IP7000 phones, but this is the first 6000). The phone is registered and i can make and receive internal calls. I can also receive external inbound calls. The problem is that it will not let me make outbound external calls. I tried forcing out the main DID via short code and no luck. I have also copied the dial plan from a working IP7000 and that appears to work fine. When i make a call using 9 and the 10 digit number, i can show the call seizes channel 23 on the PRI and is sending the 10 digits I dialed.
I have a call into the carrier (Comcast) but wanted to see if anyone has ideas or experience. I have looked through other tek-tip posts and there is only one similar, but the fix was forcing out caller ID which i have tried.
Thanks!
