Hi
we have IPO with 9.1.12 Version and 16 ports trunk expansion module.
and we face issue for incoming calls ,if the trunk is configured with Loop Start ICLID the calls disconnect when user pickup at first ring.
and if pickup after 2 rings call get through bit some after 2 rings i get disconnected.
but if we change Trunk to Loop Start or Ground start the incoming calls get through but no caller id its shows as External call.

and Caller id is must to have .
so any suggestion

Thanks

The expression ICLID means "incoming caller ID" which is coming after the first ring.
If the system picks up before that information is sent from the provider you will not have it.

Works as designed if you ask me.

Are the users using line appearance buttons?

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Yes users have apearence buttons.
The call lands on group which have 2 extenaions.

The question was "line appearance" buttons!

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

No its appearance only (not line apearence)

still needs to ring twice for the IPO to work with the caller ID, no way around it.

Ring 1 - wake up the port and set to pre-alerting, waiting for caller ID until second ring
Ring 2 - signal to targets of incoming call route

The phone system doesn't present the call until CID is received.
Check your line programming
Make sure the trunk module is on the correct firmware version.

The Expansion trunk module version is same as main IPo 9.1.12.
Do you guys think its firmware related issue?
any suggestion which firmware will be best in 9.1 versions.
