Hello,

I have a Polycom 331 that works fine with a VPN but I am unable to connect successfully from the outside. Using Zoiper on my smartphone has the same result.

I can see in the monitor log where the devices are trying to register and then they time-out.

I've seen some vague hints that IP Office 500 R9 does not allow remote 3rd party SIP extensions but I have not found a clear confirmation that this is so.

Can 3rd Party SIP devices work with IPO500 R9?

Is there anything I need in addition to the 3rd Party licenses?

It does, you just need to configure the system to allow them as by default it is off.

Thank you for your response!

Do I need a Power User or Teleworker license? Or would the 3rd Party SIP Endpoint license be enough to allow me to register an external SIP phone?

3rd Party SIP endpoint on its own, with the correct LAN/VoIP settings setup.
