Avaya IPO 8.0 inter-site calling stops overnight

Hello all,

We just got a new IPO 8.0 system with 4 sites installed and it works perfectly all day. The systems are in a hub and spoke configuration running over a mesh VPN tunnel LAN network between sites.

Each morning, before the users get to work, I connect in to the system and check the system status screens for all the sites and they show that users are logged in across the system at all the sites (we have a lot of hot-desking)and the Avaya IP Office r8 network viewer and it shows the system is up and ready. But until I reboot the hub, I cannot make any calls between sites. We even tried changing which site was the hub and it still is stopping overnight.

Once the hub is rebooted, it works perfectly all day again.

As always, I am assured by the group that manages our firewalls that they are not interfering with anything going between sites.

What else, specifically, could we look at that might be causing this behavior? Are there any utilities we could run to monitor the SCN connections?
