Hello

I have two SD cards for the avaya IPO500V2, one says that its empty and the other is the one that boots how do I know which one has the license.

the card ID says
IPO A-LAW
SYSTEM SD
PCS 13
700479702
FK/ SN
1355990907

Can someone point me in the right direction a couple of years ago I remember a page of Avaya that allowed you to check if there was a license added to that card or not. Just want to know if I still can use it or just toss it away and get a new PBX.

The one with the ID would have the licenses, and it would have been in the "primary" slot.

Yeah, the one with the Feature Key / SN is your licensed card. If you open a config from the system, are the licenses there?
I mean I wouldn't toss it away and get a new PBX...but if it's anything less than R9 you'll have to upgrade to R11 to get any licenses.

I used to be an ACE. Now I'm just an Arse.

Can I assume that you have just the cards and no system?

Is the second card Avaya branded? Some system had an optional second card which wasn't Avaya as a back up.

If you don't have the cards you can open the config in Manager usually as system\manager\primary\config.cfg although this might be passworded.
