Hi,

I have a IPO 500 v2 R 9.0 running properly with 9641G Ip phones, recently our company purchased 9670G for the Boss, and i tried plugging it in, to find no dial tone but the "phone" text and "features" text displayed on the phone. In the System Status app, it shows user as "nouser' and phone type as "unsupported classmark" I found the upgrade files from avaya support and setup http server directing the phone to upgrade the firmware, but to no use. I need to get this running, please help. Thanks a lot to all

Sadly the 9670 has never been supported by Avaya on IP Office. So even when you get it registered to a user you'll probably start to find features that don't work.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Ok, is there any work-around available for this to work in IPO, or should I return the phones. Doesn't this have a SIP firmware?

There should be a SIP firmware available, too. But neither as SIP not as H323 phone the boss will have fun with that phone. It will only support basic call features not more.

Need some help with IP Office?

i just need only the basic call features to work but even that is not possible. He may only need this just as a bigger phone in his office, rather than the features.
