Hi everyone

I'm running IP Office IP Office R11.1.2.3 with an Essential Edition license.

Will the Unified Communications Module (700501442) automatically upgrade the system to Preferred edition when you're running R11?

Thanks, Tim

In older versions which had ADI licencing it would show as a virtual licence for Preferred Edition.

Not sure on newer versions which have PLDS licencing.

1. No. You would have needed to have had the UCM present when doing the license migration from ADI to PLDS.

2. The UCM V1 is no longer supported by Avaya. It went end-of-sale December 2016 and full end-of-support December 2021. They won't have done anything to deliberately stop it working, and it fortunately uses the same .iso as a V2 so it is getting fixes by accident, but they won't do anything to fix V1 specific issues if they do occur.

(I meant UCM V1 - now corrected)

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Thanks so much @ipohead and @sizbut, really appreciate it.

Thanks, Tim
