OK a real stumper. Cust has ip ofc 500 with softphone on notebook. Softphone works fine over VPN from home. Works fine from another PC in office. However when incomming calls are answered in office no audio either way! doesn't matter wired or wireless in his office or in another location on premises. Other softphones on identical notebooks work using exact same hardware (same headset) Doesn't matter blue tooth, usb headset, or PC Speakers. No issues while on road in hotels, airports, or home. Tempting solution is to tell customer to only work from home but that isn't reasonable (LOL). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mabe the pc firewall blocks local voip traffic but not on public networks.
It is the spserver which deals with the realtime audio.

That sounds logical if far fetched. I will check it out when he is here. Thank you I'll post results cause this one is unusual.

Does he change it to the internal address? Some routers do not like traffic tromboning out and back in, so they block it :)
