Hi guys this is my first post so be gentle.......

I have a couple of our IP Office systems (Ver 6 and 9) to which I have successfully connected Patton ATA sip devices. On these adapters I have both analogue desk phones and DECT cordless phones connected. Incoming and outgoing calls work correctly and speech is of good quality.
I am unable to transfer from any of these devices. Has anyone been able to achieve this??
Note that DTMF tones are being sent forward and I am able to activate DND (*08 and deactivate *09), but I am not able to use any "incall activities" such as call park, hold, transfer etc....
I have tried setting DTMF support to inband and RFC2833 and performed a software upgrade of the Patton M-ATA to the latest available level.

Any ideas gratefully received.

Maybe the flash timer of your extensions do not meet the settings in the ATA

Straight from the manual: "Call Waiting On
Most SIP devices require this setting to be enabled in order to allow features such as transferring calls. This requirement no longer applies for IP Office Release 9.0 and higher."

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Thanks for the suggestions so far....

I have previously tried various flash timer settings and also toggled call waiting on/off, all with no success

Keep them coming.

@nzgordini, I did a quick test thas afternoon and indeed, transfer doesn't work. We run the beta 9.1 release on IP Office.
I'll see if I can spare the time to dig into it later this week as we sell the M-ATA as well.

Transfer with SIP is hit/miss at the best of times with IPO, even worse when they flat out break it :)

Just want to bump this thread to see if anyone else can add anything......

Has anyone been successful in performing a transfer with an analogue device connected through a Patton M-ATA SIP adapter to a IP Office system??

Thanks
