I am moving offices and I am upgrading from a partner to an IP office system.

Can someone link me to all the parts I need to put together a 12v cantact closure adjunct to the 3mm jack in the back of the ip500v2.

Also, I have a viking c2000b 4 door controller and my old Avaya contact closure from partner system. Is it possible to hook up the 3.5mm jack to the viking c2000b controller so I don't have to assemble a homemade relay?

The best info I read so far was from ttt, but it didn't get 100% specific, when he said "You'll need to assemble your own contact closure adjunct to connect to the 3.5mm jack on the back of the IPO. A 12VDC power cube and a couple of 12V relays is all you need. For $20 I put together a kit for one relay, in a project box, with a terminal strip for connecting to the door opener itself. Program the relay button on a set, or use a short code to cycle the relay for 5 seconds. Works great.

For example:
One Altronix RB1224 DPDT relay
One 3.5MM phono jack w/3 segments
One 12VDC Power supply 100ma minimum

Note that there are many many many other parts combos that will work just fine.
Note that the C2000B provides contact closures; if you're using it, the IPO contacts are likely a duplication of effort.

The main thing I need to be able to do is pulse the door open without having the door phone to dial first or while I'm on the phone with another extension. I had this feature with the Avaya partner, and it made life great.

Can I do this with the c2000b door controller, or only the 3.5mm jack in the back of the ip500v2

It is unlikely that you can use the C2000B to open a door without making a connection to it first. I believe that you CAN operate the IPO relay while on another call, but you should certainly try it in controlled circumstances to be sure.

can someone construct the 12v relay to 3mm plug and ship it to NYC and I will pay by paypal?

You should be able to use the C2000B door controller the same as the Partner. If it is connected to a line port on the Partner, connect it to a line port on the IPO. If it was connected to an extension on the Partner, connect it to an analog extension port on the IPO. If connecting to a line port, make sure the IPO is set to loop start versus loop start caller ID.

I didnt use the c2000b before, i had the partner contact closure adjunt before, but I dont think its compatible with IPO.
The way it worked on partner is that there was a contact closure jack and you ran it to the contact closure adjunct, and you program the phone to use Feaure 41 to pulse the doors.

I believe on the IPO i have to use the 3.5mm jack in order to program door pulse while i am on the phone.

With the inbuilt relay it is possible to open a door without having to speak to a door phone first and it is possible to activate the relay during a phone call.

I bought the altronix relay, 3.5mm cable, and 12vDC power supply.

The 12v connection to the relay i understand, can you please guide me through wiring from 3.5mm to which side of the relay, and which side of the relay should I send to NO NC C of the door strike?
