Hi,
Right, got a bit of a dilemma here but I basically need to network an office of 30 computers and 8 servers wirelessly for a period of 12 months due to restrictions on the building and structured cable (listed building etc)
I have 1x Avaya IP Office 406
I have 30x Avaya 5602SW IP handsets
I have 30x workstations (none have wifi cards)
I have 6x laptops each with 'stock' wifi onboard
I have 8x servers connected via a single gigabit switch
Now the office is approx 15m x 22m and is pretty much square
Has anyone had any experience making the handsets used on an Avaya IP Office 406 system wireless? Making the computers a wireless network is a fairly straight forward task to achieve as long as the correct AP's etc are chosen, however the Avaya system is the problem.
Currently out connection goes
AVAYA ---> POESWITCH ---> RJ45FLOOR ---> PHONE ---> COMPUTER
Can I adjust this to a wireless config? has anyone ever done this?
Kind Regards
Mike
