Hello Guru's!

Is it possible to have a Mobile cell phone device as the users extension internally? If so, what licenses do i need? Sip extension license?

Version is 10.0

thanks!

Preffered Edition and Mobile worker and one of the two options:
FNE code programming
One-X Portal and One-X Mobile

I am not going to elaborate on either option, there is plenty information available on the internet or contact AVAYA direct.

Third party softphone and third party endpoint licence???

Probably cheaper for a few devices but reduced functionality - how many Avaya features do you need?

or phantom user & mobile twinning

there are a multitude of options

as a Vendor you really should be aware of the capabilities of the systems you are selling

Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear

Thank you for the response.....basically what there looking at is able to use the Avaya one x APP and get there voicemail and able to dial extension to extension and get calls transferred to them. will power user work as well?

thanks

Yes.
With FNE codes you can do the same but the user have to to some more effort, it will save you a One-X server and it is more secure (no internet access).
But with One-X portal the user can enable a SIP client to call with (no mobile call costs) on both WiFi and G4(if allowed by the operator)
