Hi,
I have installed Avaya IPO 500V2 and upgraded to 7.0(32) there are two 1408 digital phone and two analog trunk lines. Everything ok, but while we are trying to call out through trunk, continues ring back tone is getting and the call is not landing. When I checked in the system status it is showing the call is connected. For testing I connected an analog phone to the trunk line directly and dialed. It is perfectly working. Can anyone help to solve in this problem?

Why didn't you place two analog phones? Never fails and no training needed.

If it ain't dutch it ain't much

Try enabling only one line at a time, then make a call. See if you can isolate the problem to one line or a specific port on the IP500.

start with this:
can you call between phones?
If no, NoUser logged in the phone, login a real user
If Yes
can you dial in on the analog line?
If no, line doesn't work, check connection/programming use sysmonitor/SSA to check what is wrong
If yes, line = ok
use sysmon and disable all in the filter except ATM
dial a external number do ypu see something happening in sysmon
If yes, you can send info to the line, check programming
If no, check programming
If you don't know what to check in programming call a certified business partner

If it ain't dutch it ain't much
