The issue iam having is on an avaya ip office 500 V2 system(version 7)with ip phones.. The power supply gave out and after installing a new one from another system we had on hand. The system booted just fine and when it came up the phones all display System Unlicensed. When I login to the system it displays the licenses in the manager and they all say Valid.

Attempted reboot, reseating the cards and sim card.

If anyone can help it would be apricated.

Was it just the power supply, or the entire chassis that was replaced...?

Replacing a power supply shouldn't cause this issue. I know you can get licensing based on the MAC address of the system instead of the SD card serial# but replacing a power supply shouldn't alter the MAC address.

That being said the real question is what is unlicensed. You said the licenses show valid what licenses do you have? Are you 100% sure the version on the control unit was not upgraded?

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

I was able to fix issue by replacing the old chassis with another one I had on hand and using the same SD card from the old one.
