AVAYA IP OFFICE: STRETCHED RECORDING FROM AUTO ATTENDANT

Good-day All,

I have installed a IPO re.10.1 at a customer with Auto Attendant greeting. After continued use for several weeks, suddenly you hear a stretched recording when the Auto Attendant answers and when this happens every successive call is greeted with the same stretched recording. So far we have been restarting the IPO and that resolves the issue but only temporary as it re-occurs time and time again.

sounds like an old cassette deck tape that hasn't been used for a decade and you now try to play it...sounds warped and the recording is at slow x3 speed
 
try to recreate the sd card, delete recording from aa and record new and retest
 
What software version in the IPO
it would probably be best to make sure you have the latest maintenance release of whichever version is installed.


Do things on the cheap & it will cost you dear
 
OK I am not aware of any significant issues on that release of firmware although an upgrade to the current mint release would still be a good idea before referring to Avaya if the problem persists
(1st thing avaya will say is upgrade to maint release so you may as well get that out of the way)
