Hi, Hope someone can assist me please.
Previously accessing IPO's remotely using a BT speedway modem on an XP machine.
XP machine has been slowly dying so have had to replace with a win 7 machine.
Unable to find drivers or get the Speedway card to work, we are now using a Fritz USB ISDN modem.
The problem we have no is when we try and read the data base , we get the following error
Message “Network error, failed to communicate with IP Office”.
We created the network connection in the same way as the old XP machine.
Using 192.168.99.2 as the address, it connects fine, TCP discovery works ok, and finds the IPO,
Asks us for IPO password, we click enter and then hangs for 2 mins with the error message.
I just can figure out what we have done differently ?
Also tried disabling win firewall to test.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks
