Avaya IP office Reboots with Avaya Workplace apps

Hi there,
I am not sure if anyone else is experiencing the same but we have multiple locations, all are independent from each other on different releases of IP Office 500 v2 11.1. all locations are rebooting once a month or every couple of months with the same errors (OSMemPool::Allocate Out of Memory). System status shows system memory increases over time to > 95% and then the system crashes and it starts all over again.

All locations have Avaya workplace apps on iOS devices in common and the app is used a lot. We have a ticket open with Avaya for the last 8 months but seems to be going nowhere. Does anyone have any ideas or recommendations?

System information:
- Avaya IP Office 500 v2 11.1.3.0.20 build 1 (latest CP from Avaya)
- Preferred Edition
- 30 Digital phones and 15 Avaya Workplace apps (on iOS devices)

sounds like a memory leak and you should probably open a ticket with Avaya support hoping that they already have one and also a private built that fixes it. Otherwise they will collect information and then create the built for you. It will take usually a few weeks until they get that all together.

Hello,
We have simillar issue with IPO500V2 & Workplaces on Iphones ( registered throught ASBCE ).
We have an open Service Request over 10 months without solve the issue.
During this period :
We have upgraded IPO more than once, we have upgrated ASBCE, we have installed a patch from T4...
We still wait for a solution...
Please inform if you have any update and of course I will do the same.
 
Update : Avaya Product team give us a new CP to install ( 11.1.3.1.3 Build 4 ).
We will install it next week and I will inform you...

Hello,
We installed the CP a week ago. Since now the memory usage is stable ( 33 % ).
We think we solve the issue with the CP 11.1.3.1.3 Build 4 .
