I have an IP Office throwing an error link resource down for both my modules. The modules work fine, green lights and all. I've power cycled the entire system ( each module and the processor but it keeps coming up in system status. I've checked extensions and they are functioning fine.
Any Ideas how to dig deeper to find out what the problem is, (before I have a catastrophic failure). It just started when changed my sip trunk credentials and did a re-start, but that should not have any relation. I had my original configs backed up so I went back and put everything as it was but the error still was present.

Not really, but have you tried to run the upgrade again?

Could it be that the expansions lost their firmware or sucked in a higher/lower version by mistake?

(You have checked the cables, that they are the once prescribed?)

Kind regards

Gunnar

This sounds like that a module or port is dying or that you are not using the original cables for connecting the modules.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

we had similar on one site randomly getting these type of errors
a cpu swap seemed to cure it

Thanks for the responses, there are two modules doing the same thing so I doubt both are crashing at the same time. I use a variety of link cables (cat-5 cat-6 , shielded, factory) and have never seen any issues. IP Guru, I think you're more on base because if the dual errors for separate modules. I did have a problem starting up the unit though, it didn't turn on at all until I plugged in and changed the power cable several times. I have had to replace units when they did not start like this before, so I may need to replace the CPU, that is failing for sure, the modules are solid, no startup issues. Thanks again for helping me think this one though, hope it helps someone else out there too.
