I am having trouble figuring out why the IP pbx is not completing calls for a specific short code 072N giving a call barring error. All other shortcodes with the exact same settings are able to call out. I have about 5 other shortcodes in my system.

I have done a call trace for the faulty shortcode this is the sequence of events on the log

5/18/21 2:18:57 PM-076ms Line = 2, Channel = 3, Q.931 Message = Information, Call Ref = 44689, Direction = From Switch, Called Party Number = 6
5/18/21 2:18:57 PM-436ms Extension = 2218, Digit dialed, Digit = 2
5/18/21 2:18:57 PM-436ms Line = 2, Channel = 3, Q.931 Message = Information, Call Ref = 44689, Direction = From Switch, Called Party Number = 2
5/18/21 2:18:58 PM-175ms Line = 2, Channel = 3, Q.931 Message = CallProceeding, Call Ref = 44689, Direction = To Switch
5/18/21 2:18:59 PM-016ms Line = 2, Channel = 3, Q.931 Message = ReleaseComplete, Call Ref = 44689, Direction = To Switch, Cause Code = 38

for a working short code this is the log for comparison;
5/18/21 2:32:58 PM-625ms Line = 2, Channel = 3, Q.931 Message = Information, Call Ref = 44800, Direction = From Switch, Called Party Number = 5
5/18/21 2:32:59 PM-275ms Line = 2, Channel = 3, Q.931 Message = CallProceeding, Call Ref = 44800, Direction = To Switch
5/18/21 2:33:02 PM-565ms Line = 2, Channel = 3, Q.931 Message = Alerting, Call Ref = 44800, Direction = To Switch
5/18/21 2:33:05 PM-917ms Line = 2, Channel = 3, Q.931 Message = Connect, Call Ref = 44800, Direction = To Switch
5/18/21 2:33:10 PM-560ms Line = 2, Channel = 3, Q.931 Message = ReleaseComplete, Call Ref = 44800, Direction = To Switch, Cause Code = 16

Please help me figure this out it has been giving me a hard time for a few weeks now.

Did you look at the specific user with the issue? Look at their shortcodes - perhaps they are barred.

I used to be an ACE. Now I'm just an Arse.

What is GroupID 11? You are bypassing the ARS table and sending calls directly to the line so my assumption is GroupID 11 is your line. What kind of lines do you have?

You should run a new monitor trace but you need to turn on the filters for the line type you have. The monitor trace you posted does not show any relevant information to help you.

The truth is just an excuse for lack of imagination.

Since you dont have a semicolon to end the short code and since you have bypassed ARS then I suspect that you are sending one digit at a time directly to the line.
Set monitor traces to default and add ISDN layer 2 and 3 traces. Also check Call\ short code messages and Call\MonCM then test again. Save the trace and post for review.

BTW you should use ARS.
