Do auto-attendant announcements/Voice Mail options that one hears when calling a number after hours provide any clues if the system is Avaya IP Office?

The callers will hear what you record. It won't state it's an IPO.
Now if a caller reaches a voicemail without a greeting they will hear a canned greeting indicating its an IP Office.

@Michael.D - Why are you asking? You've also asked in similar questions in other forums for other PABXs and also about what feature codes can be accessed externally. This starts to sound like attempting switch hacking through the auto-attendants.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

It wasn't cynical. It was real and genuine. People here look after real customer telephone systems, including protecting them from hacking. Along comes someone new, whose posts, in several forums, are about "how to recognise system by there response to external AA calls" and "what feature codes can be accessed with external calls". If someone asks questions about the brand of my door lock and where I keep my money, I get suspicious - so would you.

You'll also note I asked why you were asking for those details and explained why I was asking you that.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

@Michael.D, sizbut was not unpolite (IMHO) but underlined how difficult for everybody is to face continuous hacking which use the standard IP Office options, all forced Avaya to implement security options which we make our job harder day by day. In my IPO I will continuosly see SIP useragents trying to register as Avaya 1120, I know it's a sw engine but is really stressful for all of us to face firewall settings, backdoors, passwords strenghts, end user policies (who the same end user does not share or agree) etc etc.
Please understand, thank you

Explain yourself Michael.D

See that was far from polite and still not even close to being nasty. So don't be a Californian snowflake about a simple and still very polite question why you would like all that information.

A defensive response is exactly what I would have expected when there's no legitimate reason for seeking this information.

I'm with @sizbut on this.

If you've legitimately worked with the systems you're asking about Michael.D then you'll know how to tell them apart.
